DUTCH AND ENGLISH PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Full-time

The Foundation Catholic Education St. Maarten is now accepting applications for the following vacancies at its Primary Schools for the upcoming school year 2026/2027 and beyond:

  • Classroom Teachers for the Dutch Primary Schools
  • Classroom Teachers for the English Primary Schools
  • Subject Teachers Dutch for the English Primary Schools
  • Subject Teachers English for the Dutch Primary Schools
  • Remedial Teachers
  • Physical Education Teachers
  • Student Care Coordinators for both the Dutch and English Primary Schools

Requirements and preference go out to teachers, who:

  • Have the Dutch nationality and the Catholic denomination
  • Are in possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, or in the specific Subject
  • Are innovative in their teaching approach and student assessments
  • Have followed courses in the following areas: Special Needs, Pedagogical Tact, Positive Behavior Support and Experiential Learning (this is a plus).
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English (a must for the Dutch Schools).
  • Are competent in the use of technology.

  • Are in possession of at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the specific subject area and have a teaching diploma.
  • Are innovative in their teaching approach and student assessment
  • Are willing to actively contribute to the school’s and IB’s philosophy and are team players.
  • Are competent in the use of technology.

Preference goes out to teachers with C.X.C. / pre-university level teaching experience in required subjects.
