Celebrating Artistic Development at The Sister Magda Primary School!
At The Sister Magda Primary School, creativity is more than a skill it’s a way for our students to discover their voice, express their faith, and reflect the beauty of God’s creation.
As part of the FBE curriculum, artistic development plays a vital role in nurturing the whole child’s mind, heart, and spirit. Through art, music, drama, and movement, our students grow in confidence, empathy, and imagination.
Every Friday, our classrooms come alive with creativity during our ateliers’ special sessions where students explore different art forms, experiment with new ideas, and express their talents in a joyful, hands-on way. These ateliers are a cherished part of our week, offering space for curiosity, collaboration, and reflection.
Here’s what some of our students shared about their artistic journey:
How do these lessons make you feel about God’s love and amazing grace?”
“Can you tell me about something you made or learned in art or cultural lessons that also helped you with your other subjects”
“I say the colors in Dutch that also helps me to understand Dutch better” (student group 2)
“What do you like most about your art or cultural lessons at your school?”
“I can do my favorite activity, crochet and my teacher supports me, that’s why I am still doing it” (student group 7)
“What do you like most about your art or cultural lessons at your school?”
“I get to use a lot of materials and make things” (student group 5)
We’re proud to be one of the seven Catholic schools showcasing the importance of artistic development!
