Word of welcome School manager from the Sr. Regina School

Dear Students, Teachers and Parents,

Welcome to a new school year at the Sister Regina Primary School.
Our theme this year is: “We are called to pray without ceasing”
This theme was not chosen lightly. In a world that can sometimes be hectic and uncertain, we all want to remind ourselves of the power of prayer. Prayer is not just something we do on special occasions or only
when we are struggling. It is a constant source of strength, comfort and guidance every day.

Dear students, this means that in everything you do – whether you are learning, playing or making new friendships – may you always know that God is with you and that you may talk to Him. Whether it’s a
quick prayer before a test, or a moment of gratitude for a great day, prayer is always there for you.

For our dedicated teachers, this means that you are not alone in the important task of shaping young minds and hearts. Together, as a team, let us begin and end our days in prayer, knowing that God will give us the strength and wisdom to guide our students on their journey.

And for you, dear parents, this means that you can use prayer as a support for your children, for your families. Together, hand in hand with school, we are building a community of faith, hope and love.
Let us grow in our faith together this year, and let us see prayer not as an obligation, but as a wonderful invitation to draw closer to God. Let’s make a great year together!
May God bless us all on this journey.

Signature prayer

Heavenly Father,
“We are called to pray without ceasing,”
Help us to see prayer not just as a moment but as a way of life
drawing closer to You with each breath we take.
Strengthen our hearts, our school, and fill us with Your peace as we journey together in faith.

Amen
